Wow, that's gorgeous, Lori! I wish I had a view like that. The trees/shrubs outside my window are a somewhat anemic shade of green currently, as we've really just gotten good fall-like weather for the past week or so. But we probably won't have good color again this year due to the drought. Drat that drought! Watching the leaves change color is one of my favorite things about autumn.
Kaye, One thing I miss about the East is the spectacular falls. Our native trees turn yellow, or even go straight to brown. Here and there in the higher hills some berry shrubs go scarlet, but we don't see those day to day. Have to go take a drive or a hike. So the trees in town are that much more appreciated when they turn. I was in TN last October, and was just a little disappointed at how dry the autumn was. I do hope you all get some much needed rain soon.October is my favorite month. Always has been.
